Our Dyke Delicious 2004 season finale is a real shocker! Bad
Girls Behinds Bars takes a campy look at women
in prison films and pokes fun at them like only lesbians
can. Shown in living color and glorious black and white,
the past meets the present in this rollicking cellblock send
up. Bad Girls Behind Bars explores the
lesbian subtext in women in prison films by irreverently
inter-cutting several works in this neglected genre. A sociological
exploration with an eye on fun rather than education; a cheeky
commentary on the clichés and stereotypes we all know
and an affectionate look at the girls you love to hate and
the ones you hate to love. Our Season Finale includes
fabulous prizes with a free raffle for audience members. Approximately
90 mins.
This screening takes place at Chicago Filmmakers, 5243 North
Clark Street. $10 donation. Tickets are on sale at Chicago
Filmmakers beginning at 4:00 pm the day of the show. Parole

Chicago Lesbian & Gay International Film Festival, a production
of Chicago Filmmakers. Dyke Delicious will return in 2005 with
