Festival extended one day to November 13!
Lesbian romantic comedy Imagine Me and You added to line-up

Fox Searchlight has submitted a film to Reeling and we couldn't resist the temptation to accept this late entry. A smash hit at the Toronto International Film Festival, Imagine Me and You is the story of a girl who falls in love on her wedding day...but not with the man of honor. Heck (Matthew Goode) and Rachel (Piper Perabo) are a happy young couple about to embark on life together. But at the church, Rachel catches the eye of an unexpected guest. What follows is the romantic, humorous and sometimes poignant journey familiar to anyone who's ever been lucky (or unlucky) enough to be under love's spell.

The film will show on Sunday, November 13 at 7 pm at Landmark's Century Centre Cinema (2828 N. Clark St.). Tickets are $10 and will be available in advance by phone at (773) 293-1447 or at the box office at the Landmark on the day of the show, starting at 6:30 pm. Reeling members will be admitted free!

Reeling 2005: The 24th Chicago Lesbian and Gay International Film Festival is the second-oldest lesbian and gay film festival in the world. This year, we're proud to be bringing the best in international independent queer cinema to Chicago audiences for the 24th year!

Films in this year's lineup include the sexy, evocative coming-of-age story about young gay rowers, Summer Storm; the politically charged story of an Iranian lesbian who seeks asylum in Germany, Unveiled; the directorial debut of Queer as Folk's Peter Paige, Say Uncle; and the hilarious comedy about a gay man's romantic misadventures, The Mostly Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green.
