Dangerous Dykes Shorts Program 10:30pm

Team Queen (Leah Meyerhoff, US, 2006): An imaginative reformation of the teeny bop music video genre, featuring the post punk band Triple Creme and some of New York’s best drag queens and burlesque performers.

Terrorist She Freaks of Texas (Holly M. Lewis & Bug Davidson, 2005, US): When queers become the United States’ public enemy number one, it’s up to the she freaks to do some serious messing with Texas.

Bad Boy (Velveeta Krisp, Canada, 2005): Two leather clad women enact punishment on a very, very “bad boy.”

Devil Inside (Jean-Gabriel Periot, France, 2006): Revolutionary fun with the band flaming pussy. Acnecore (Philipe Lonestar, US, 2005): A pimple popping, post-punk pop music video that will have you reaching for your Clearasil.

The Outsiders (Julie Saragosa, Canada, 2005): A compact and gritty gender bending re-imagining of the classic film and novel about youth and unconventional community.

Surf Gang (Katrina del Mar, US, 2006): A gang of urban surfer girls hit the waves and anyone who stands in their way.

A Dirndl, A Poodle, A Trauma (Kerstin Honeit, Germany, 2006): A traumatizing incident with a pet poodle must be repaired with a little aversion therapy and lots of dark humor.
