The universal language of gay is the uniting thread of this international shorts program, featuring Icelandic wrestlers in love, contract killers with jealousy issues, a Swiss country boy’s exposure to the wide world of gay, and other fascinating tales.

The Saddest Boy in the World (Jamie Travis, Canada, 2006): Friendlessness, suburban complacency, and prescription drugs have conspired against young Timothy Higgens, making this the worst year yet.

Anthony (Antoine)
(Jean-Philippe Laraque, France, 2006): Vincent and Laurent are two professional contract killers. A sharp burst of jealousy suddenly puts their quiet lives in danger. Who is Anthony?

Wrestling (Grimur Hakonarson, Iceland, 2007): Rural Iceland sets the stage for the love story of two homosexual wrestlers. Groucho (Medardo Amor, Spain, 2006): Sixteen-year-old David approaches his neighbor Enrique in the elevator with the excuse of helping him with the shopping bags. But his real motivation is seduction.

Due Bravi Ragazzi (Tony Palazzo, Italy, 2006): When Michael returns to Italy after 20 years in the US, pal Gino picks him up and a road trip ignites a psychological game.

Country Life (Landleben) (Lukas Egger, Switzerland, 2007): Two worlds collide as newly outed farmer’s son Julian is set up with city boy Adi from Zurich.
