Scottish humor meets Bollywood spectacle in Nina’s Heavenly Delights, the splendidly romantic tale of Nina Shah, a gorgeous Indo-Scottish chef who returns home to her family business (and the tribulations that accompany relatives) following her father’s sudden death.

Nina is now left with the task of running her family’s restaurant, The New Taj, along with a surprising new business partner—sexy and charismatic Lisa. When Nina and Lisa are thrown together in the kitchen, the sexual tension hits a boiling point and sumptuousness and eroticism cook alongside the curry.

Recalling her father’s lessons of her youth, Nina learns that the way to succeed both in and out of the kitchen is to follow one small bit of advice—“No matter what the recipe says, always follow your heart.” This adage sets the tone not only for Nina, but for her quirky friends and family as well—from wannabe Bollywood drag queen Bobbi to sister Priya, who hides a strange love of Scottish Highland dancing. In the end, everyone has found his/her own path to happiness in this charming first feature.
